We are located just north of Boston in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We are purveyors of antique maps, museum quality reproduction maps and customizable cartographic gifts gifts. We have been dealing in late 19th and early 20th century antique real estate and ward maps since 2004.
The WardMaps store feature thousands of authentic antique maps of local neighborhoods of Boston, Cambridge and Somerville as well as major north American and European cities. We also carry an extensive collection of 19th century antique world, continent and country maps from around the world. Our store feature customizable maps on gifts including messenger bags, hand bags, sketch books, mouse pads, coasters, puzzles, mug, greeting cards and serving trays, all featuring antique maps from our collection. We also offer custom matting and framing as well as custom printing of any image onto our products.
Our store also feature unique creations and apparel by local artists and craftspeople as well as an extensive selection of products from our brother company Boston Coasters. Gift certificates are available online.

By Foot: We are a 5 minute walk from the Porter Square T subway station. Take the main entrance up to the street. At the top of the escalators, go left out the doors and walk along Massachusetts Avenue towards Harvard Square / Boston.The WardMaps store is on the left side of the street.
By Car: From the North or South take I93 to downtown Boston. Take exit for Storrow Drive. From the West take I90 to Cambridge Exit and left onto Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive and take the exit for Harvard Square. At top of ramp take right and proceed straight on JFK Street through Harvard Square. JFK Street becomes Massachusetts Avenue. The store will be on the right after the Gulf Gas Station.
Parking:There are ample parking meters on Massachusetts Avenue in front of the store.

In her own words: "A screen print is made using a stencil process in which the print's image is superimposed on a very fine mesh screen. Ink is then squeegeed through the screen onto the paper. The ink on the prints is thick enough to see a slight bit of depth (and can be felt), whereas on the professionally printed posters, the ink soaks into the paper and is flat."
